How Do I Turn On Palm Pre’s Airplane Mode?
The Airplane Mode of the Palm Pre turns it's cellular radio off in order to avoid causing interference with an airplane's avionics. One of the other uses for this mode is to reset your cellphone connnection. If you are having connection issues with your Palm Pre, try turning this mode on, waiting a few seconds and then turning it back off.

How Do I Switch Applications Quickly On The Palm Pre?
Did you know you can quickly switch applications on your Palm Pre without having to first go to Card View? Start by turning on "Advanced Gestures."
- Tap Launcher.
- Start the Screen & Lock application which is usually found on the third page of apps.
- Scroll down to the area titled "Advanced Gestures" and toggle it on.
Now..Start several apps on your Palm Pre. With one of them maximized to full screen, take your finger and slide it from left to right in the Gesture area. I find it works best if you slide just below the screen. Once you slide all the way to one end of your apps, you'll have to go back in the opposite direction.

How Do I Customize My Palm Pre Quick Launch?
Customizing your Palm Pre Quick Launch is actually very easy.
First, remember that the Quick Launch can hold up to five icons. The Pre comes with Phone, Contacts, Email, Calendar and Launcher on the Quick Launch by default. Tapping Launcher will display pages with icons of your currently installed apps.

How Do I Delete An App From The Palm Pre?
Downloaded an app for your new Palm Pre and decided it wasn't for you? There are a couple of ways to delete it.
Option one:
- Tap Launcher.
- Tap Device Info which is usually on the third page.
- Device Information will open. Tap More Information at the bottom.
- A new card will open which has 2 screens, Software and Hardware. Tap Software (it will gain a blue background).
- Scroll to the program you want to delete, right-swipe it and a confirmation window will pop up.
Option two:
- Tap Launcher.
- Hold down the orange button.
- Tap the app.
- A confirmation box will pop up.
At this time you can only delete apps you have downloaded yourself. You cannot delete apps that came with the Palm Pre or through webOS updates.
