How Do I Turn On Palm Pre’s Airplane Mode?
The Airplane Mode of the Palm Pre turns it's cellular radio off in order to avoid causing interference with an airplane's avionics. One of the other uses for this mode is to reset your cellphone connnection. If you are having connection issues with your Palm Pre, try turning this mode on, waiting a few seconds and then turning it back off.

How Do I Assign A Speed Dial To My Palm Pre?
Assigning a Speed Dial to a contact on your Palm Pre is easy:
- From Launcher open Contacts
- Select a contact.
- tap the drop-down menu labeled Contacts in the upper left hand corner.
- Tap Set Speed Dial.
- Choose one of the phone numbers listed.
- On the next card, tap the desired number or letter.
To Speed Dial the contact, simply press and hold the assigned key when in the Dialer app.

How Do I Add A Webpage To The Palm Pre Launcher?
Did you know you can create a icon on your Palm Pre that looks like an application but actually loads a webpage? Here's how:
- Navigate to the webpage you want to have quick access to on your Pre. I chose Google tasks.
- Tap the Web button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the Page option, it will drop down a couple of choices: Add To Launcher and Share.
- Tap Add To Launcher.
- The dropdown will close and a new card will open.
- Choose the Add to Launcher option.
You will now have a icon in your launcher that looks like an app. This is very useful for quick access to mobile web pages.

- Highlight the text by holding down the shift key while dragging your finger over it.
- Cut: press and hold the Gesture area + X
- Copy: press and hold the Gesture area + C

If you're like me you often find yourself with multiple tabs open in your web browser. One of the reasons I really like the Pre is that it supports multitasking and easy switching between cards. To open a hyperlink in a new card press and hold the orange button + space then tap the link.
