How Do I Speed Up My Palm Pre Browser?
Has your Palm Pre browser been acting slow? Does it take a long time to even start loading a page? Are you having trouble loading certain pages at all?
Do The Following:
- Start the browser
- Tap the upper left hand corner
- Tap preferences
- Tap Clear History
- Tap Clear Cookies
- Tap Clear Cache
I found this one tip fixed a number of issues with my Palm Pre's Browser.

How Do I Add My Palm Pre To A WiFi Network?
Adding your Palm Pre to a WiFi network is pretty straightforward.
- From Launcher, tap "WiFi." This is usually found on the third page of apps.
- Tap the blue slide switch to the on position.
- Tap your network from the list under Choose A Network.
- If your network is secured (and it should be) type in the password in the box that pops up.
- Tap Sign In.

How Do I Add A Webpage To The Palm Pre Launcher?
Did you know you can create a icon on your Palm Pre that looks like an application but actually loads a webpage? Here's how:
- Navigate to the webpage you want to have quick access to on your Pre. I chose Google tasks.
- Tap the Web button in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap the Page option, it will drop down a couple of choices: Add To Launcher and Share.
- Tap Add To Launcher.
- The dropdown will close and a new card will open.
- Choose the Add to Launcher option.
You will now have a icon in your launcher that looks like an app. This is very useful for quick access to mobile web pages.

How Do I Open A Hyperlink In A New Card?
If you're like me you often find yourself with multiple tabs open in your web browser. One of the reasons I really like the Pre is that it supports multitasking and easy switching between cards. To open a hyperlink in a new card press and hold the orange button + space then tap the link.
